There is a saying that love is a beautiful thing. But it is even more beautiful when you find a partner who understands you and will go every length to stay with you no matter the odds.
Such is the love of Joshua A. Christopher and Chisom Ume Sozo, a young couple who have just been married in a beautiful wedding in Nigeria.

It was by Sozo's mother's hospital bed that Joshua went on his knee to ask Sozo to marry him and he was so anxious and tensed that Sozo's mother teased him as behaving like a restless hen. After the proposal, Joshua and Sozo had to return to Abuja for pressing reasons.
On their way back, the car they were travelling in, a commercial vehicle which had Joshua, his cousin, and Sozo seated at the back, got involved in a near-fatal accident. Sozo sustained injuries including hip fractures and was hospitalised for three months. The cousin who had a femur fracture got better later.
