Beyonce accused of copying Spirit song video from South African singer
- Queen Bey has been made the people of South Africa super proud with her Lion King movie until recently
- They are now accusing Bey of copying Petite Noir
- According to them, Bey's Spirit music video is terribly similar to Petite Noir's
Queen Bey has been flooding South African headlines because of her dedicated and influential role in the remake of the iconic Disney film, The Lion King.
Following the premiere of the movie, Beyoncé’s Spirit music video almost broke the internet when it was also released.

Not only has Bey showcased Africa in a heart-warming light, she made the effort to include African artists in the magical journey.
However, the Spirit music video has been the reason of recent online uproar.
According to citizens of the South African country, they feel that it is far too similar to singer-songwriter Petite Noir’s visual album, La Maison Noir: The Gift and the Curse.

Despite the praise that Beyoncé has received for the incredible work she has done, the fact that she might have copied someone's work is a big no for South Africans.

While making comparisons of the two videos, South Africans noted the location and costumes used in Beyonce's video were all similar to Petite Noir's
They argued that the entire concept of Beyonce's Spirit video was originally Petite Noir's.
Some however thought the whole debate was just a bluff.
