Phylis Vesta Boison has been named as the winner of the 2019 edition of the prestigious Miss Malaika beauty pageant.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Phylis beat nine other contestants in the final which was held at the National Theatre in Accra on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

YEN.com.gh brings you a few photos and facts about the newly-crowned queen.

Phylis is a 19-year-old lady.

She is currently studying for her first degree at the University of Ghana.

YEN.com.gh understands Phylis is a third-year in Bsc Administration student.

She is a past student of Holy Child Senior High in Cape Coast.

Phylis' win comes after weeks of intense competition among the queen.

For her prize, Phylis took home a brand new car and cash.

She had Mbord Astanga and Habiba Bint-Abdallah as her first and second runners-up, respectively.

Phylis takes over the crown from Miriam Owusu-Poku, the 2018 Miss Malaika.

From all indications, Phylis is beautiful and deserving of the crown.
