A 45-year-old man identified as Justice Aflakpui at Adafienu in the Volta Region has angrily bitten a dog to death after the dog bit it and attempted to run away.

News report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Peacefmonline confirms that the dog had invaded the house of Justice who is affectionately called Efo.

At that particular time, Efo was relaxing at home peacefully taking his locally produced alcohol commonly known as 'akpeteshie'.

The dog landed a bite on Efo Justice who was in pain due to the unexpected attack from the dog. As the dog made its way out of the house, Justice decided that he would pay back the dog.

Efo chased after the dog with his wounded leg, captured it and gave the dog a bite for what it did. The dog was heard screaming over and over after the bite from Efo.

Before long, the screams died down, only for the dog to be found lifeless. A brother of the heroic Efo by name Victor narrated his side of the story.

Victor said:

“He was in pain after the dog bite. Out of anger, he chased the dog that had quickly run to a nearby bush to take revenge. Fortunately for him, he got hold of it, strangled it, and bit it back.”

“I heard the dog bark and cry like it was in real pain and within a few minutes, it stopped. I went there to check what had happened only find out the dog had died – with foam coming out from its mouth,” he added.

Interestingly, dogs have lately been in the news for several reasons.

Just recently, YEN.com.gh reported that a 30-year-old gentleman by name Attah Azimma at Papaase, near Assam, in the Ashanti Region had been killed by his own brother.

Adomonline.com reports that Attah was shot by Kwaku Kandarira, 35 after confusion ensued between them over the head of cooked dog meat.

Reports indicate that Kandarira was the one who prepared the meat but Attah wanted to use his own means to get the sweetest part which is the head.
