This is because the limited time slot for sports updates on most radio stations makes it necessary for one to speak as fast as possible.
Per a report by pulse.com.gh, she was taken by surprise when it dawned on her that her oratory skills may come in handy in the near future.
Joyce reveals that she almost lost her life after falling severely ill in August 2015.
Till date, she is yet to determine the exact form of the sickness, which compelled her to stay home for a year and eventually ended her football career.
“Doctors declared that I would not survive but it was by the grace of God that I am still alive,” she said.
She, however, regained her health after staying home for a year and this was the start of her career in sports commentary.
Joyce says that in future, she wants to be recognized by CAF and FIFA when it comes to football commentary.
