Meet the 10-year-old genius Ghanaian boy admitted to SHS 1

- A 10-year-old Ghanaian child called Michael Blair Tasiamo has been admitted into SHS

- It is indicated that Michael who has 3 long years to become a teenager has been admitted at the Fafraha Community Senior High School

A 10-year-old genius Ghanaian boy by name Michael Blair Tasiamo has been admitted at the Fafraha Community Senior High School, a report which is causing a great stir online.

Michael's story was shared in a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Facebook handle of the National Science & Maths Quiz.

The report portrays how shocked the renowned group was about the exploits of the young chap, describing the report as interesting, and asserting it confirms the adage "age is just a number".

Michael's story is truly amazing regarding the fact in Ghana, it normally takes about ten years to finish basic school education.

And usually, children start schooling at the age of three or four which makes then complete junior high school by age 13 or 14 thereabout.

To be able to complete junior high school and enter senior high school by age 10 is simply remarkable and shows that he was truly smart and probably jumped some classes when he was in basic school.

Although not confirmed, the 10-year-old boy is thought to be studying General Science given the fact his story caught the attention of the National Science & Maths Quiz group.

In other news, a 78-year-old woman identified as Mama Rose Adjei who picks water sachets and sells for a living has been pleasantly surprised with GHC 1,000 by Crime Check Foundation's Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng.

The story was shared on the official Facebook page of the Crime Check Foundation where it was revealed that the old woman has no children to take care of her.

It is indicated that the 78-year-old had an only child who would have supported her but the child has not been seen for so many years.
