First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo was pleasantly surprised with a party in her office as she celebrated her birthday.

Mrs Akufo-Addo turned a year older today, Thursday, March 12, 2020. Born in 1951, she turned 69 years old.
As reported by YEN.com.gh, Auntie Becky's day started with many well-wishes from prominent personalities including her husband, President Akufo-Addo.
But that was not all as she got a surprise mini-party thrown for when she arrived for work in the morning.
Arriving at her office, Mrs Akufo-Addo was greeted by several people including Reverend Father Campbell. Also present was a pianist with some choristers who sang for the First Lady.

Later, they were joined by Madam Joyce Aryee who came to hug Mrs Akufo-Addo who looked surprised.
Looking at the facial expression of the First Lady, she was very surprised and it seems to be a pleasant one.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that an old photo of First lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo had popped up on social media.
The photo showed Mrs Akufo-Addo as a young mother who was probably breastfeeding her baby.
