Sammy Awuku: NPP organiser celebrates 36th birthday in style

Sammy Awuku turned 36 years old on Friday, April 10, 2020.

But he could not have a big celebration due to the ban on social gathering and its associated lockdown.

But some celebrity friends of the NPP national organiser decide to surprise him with a mini celebration.

The friends including actor Prince David Osei, actress and NPP activist Bibi Bright, among a handful of others, surprised Awuku by visiting his private residence.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sammy Awuku was seen walking on his compound as his guests who were grouped at a mini garden in the house sang a 'happy birthday' song for him.

Looking surprised, Sammi Awuku told the guests that they did not try at all because they had made him shy.

Apart from the celebration, the video also gave social media users a look inside Sammy Awuku's beautiful house.

The house, as seen in the video, is an ash-painted building which looks big and beautiful. Parked on the compound were two cars.

Sammy Awuku is undoubtedly one of the most successful young men on the political scene in Ghana.

After bursting onto the scene ins his mid-20s, Awuku has risen through the ranks and now holds a top position in one of the biggest political parties in Africa.

Apart from his role as the ruling party's organiser, Awuku is also the Board Chairman of the National Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

He is married to Mary Awuku with whom he has two daughters.
