Ghanaian dancehall sensation, Shatta Wale's, name will boldly be written in the history books of the country long before he retires from music.

The controversial singer has caught the attention of the world with his lyrical prowess.

Shata Wale has now made history by becoming the first African to headline a Jamaican dancehall project.

The self-acclaimed African dancehall king is truly living up to his title as he has taken his dancehall music to another level.

The dancehall album which is set to be released in the coming days features Bennie Man, Elephant, Man, Capleton, among others.

The person behind the project is Jethro Sheeran who is an English singer and songwriter.

The upcoming album has been titled Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica.

It is not the first time Jethro has come up with a project featuring stars across the globe.

In 2017, Jethro dominated the world with a project that had artistes like, Sean Paul, Sean Kingston making appearances.

The album reached Number 1 on the Billboard Charts in February 2018.

Shatta Wale confirmed the aforementioned development by posting a poster of the project:

He wrote: "From Ghana to da world, we keep rising from grace to grace. Thank you Shatta Movement, I love y’all. Big shout to all the artistes on bill. Let’s make history!. Bless up to the production team, @Seankontractor- The Digital Radio Tracker, @beatbopper."

In 2019, Shatta Wale made headlines when Beyoncé featured him for the remake of the Lion King movie.

Beyoncé curated two albums featuring international artistes for the Lion King movie which are called Spirit and The Gift.

It is on The Gift album which was released on Friday, July 19, 2019, which had Beyoncé featuring Shatta Wale on a song titled Already.
