The American drama series The Chi centres on a group of residents on the South Side of Chicago. By coincidence, all of them link up and based on their need for connection and redemption, they all bonded. The television drama series was created by Lena Waithe, while Rick Famuyiwa directed the plot. After the first season premiered on the 7th of January, 2018, season two premiered on the 7th of April, 2019, before the third season premiered on the 21st of June, 2020.

In the latest season, as Emmett matures, he makes an effort to change his mother's perspective of him by turning from a teen who appears unmotivated to a real-time businessman. While Jada focuses on what happens in the next phase of her life, Ronnie seems confused about what his reason for existence is.

Then, Kiesha, Kevin, and their newlywed mothers, Dre and Nina, go through a seismic shift in their family. Unfortunately for Jake, he finds himself in the middle of a chaotic situation between his brother Trig and his new father-figure known to be Douda.

Jason is an American actor, who became prominent for starring in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton as rapper Eazy-E. He has also featured in dramas like Mudbound and Detroit and plays the role of Brandon in The Chi.
In the TV series, in his quest to become a better person, he and his girlfriend Jerrika open a restaurant. After gradually making significant success in the business, a devastating personal tragedy hits him and everything he has built over the years is threatened by it.

Who plays Reggie in The Chi?
Barton Fitzpatrick played the role of Reggie, and following the gunshot he sustained from assailants on motorcycles, one of the questions fans have been asking is, "did Reggie die on The Chi? Although after the gunshot, his friend sought help from different corners, it was not clear if Reggie got through or not until the show ended. So, while there is no definite answer to whether he died or not yet, as the episodes in the third season air, everything will be cleared in a matter of time.
