Speaking before the presentation, Stonebwoy indicated that he decided to offer a kind gesture because of the efforts of Agiecoat and others like him who have laid the foundation for Ghana's current music industry.

Stonebwoy noted that had it not been for the efforts of people like Agiecoat, no music industry would have existed for him and others to join.

"When we were coming up, we looked up to some people and expected them to hold us. It is unfortunate that the industry changed.
"Though I do not know him personally, I didn't need to have him do it for me personally before I could honour him because without them an industry would not have existed."

In his acceptance speech, Agiecoat thanked God and expressed his gratitude to Stonebwoy and Ayisha Modi for the car gift.

Recounting his relationship with Modi who worked with him back in the day, Agiecoat described her as a wonderful woman.

Stonebwoy later presented the documents and keys to the car to Agiecoat who declared himself an official member of BHIM Nation before going to sit in the car for a test drive.

For those who do not know, Agiecoat was a top music producer in his heydays. His outfit produced many albums including George Darko’s Odo Colour, Buk Bak’s Sika Kokoo (Klu Brofo) and Gonja Barracks, Kontihene’s Aketesia, Kokovelli’s Zaaza, among others.

While Stonebwoy is claiming plaudits for this gift, a one-time best friend and staunch supporter of Stonebwoy's music, Sadick Assah, has revealed the beginnings of the singer.

In a Facebook post that sought to 'tell it all', Sadick recounted the grass to grace story of the BHIM boss and revealed that he moved heaven and earth to help Stonebwiy get noticed.
