Election 2020: Samira Bawumia campaigns massively for the NPP in Tumu(photos)

The wife of the vice president, Mrs. Samira Bawumia has recently been doing the most to ensure that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) retains power in the upcoming polls.

She has been spotted visiting various constituencies and towns campaigning for the NPP.

In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Samira Bawumia posted her recent tour of the Upper West Region, which begun with visits to Tumu, Pulima and Jeffisi, in the Sissala East and West Constituencies.

In other news, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang on Monday, October 5, 2020, began a five-day tour of the Eastern Region.

Prof. Opoku Agyemang is expected to tour Asuogyamam, Lower Manya Krobo, Upper Manya Krobo, Yilo Krobo, Okere, Asene Manso Akroso, Kade, Akwatia, Lower West Akim and Nkawkaw.

In a statement issued by the the spokesperson for Prof. Naana Jane, Mawuena Trebarh the tour will give her the opportunity to interact with traditional authorities, religious leaders, civil society organisations and citizens from all walks of life.

On the tour of the region, the NDC vice-presidential aspirant would also be communicating the NDC’s plan for Ghana to Ghanaians in that part of the country.
