Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan, Joe Ghartey, seems to have already won the seat ahead of the 2020 general elections.

Thousands of supporters of the railway minister turned up to show support for him during his health walk in his constituency ahead of Election 2020

For over 16 kilometers, the massive crowd marched on dancing to melodious tunes along the streets from Sekondi to Esssido, Kasaworodo to Kojokrom, Ketan among others.

According to a report filed by JoyNews, participants in the exercise, said they showed up because Joe Ghartey’s commitment to the development of the constituency is unmatched.

According to them, he has carved a niche for himself, a loyal and trusted personality in the minds and hearts of the constituents.

The numbers which could run into ten thousand came from several corridors of the constituency, causing heavy traffic on the roads that lead from Sekondi to Esssido, Kasaworodo to Kojokrom, Ketan and all other streets.

Seasoned Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adu popularly known as ‘Agya Koo’, who graced the event expressed shock at the how thousands of people showed up to support the Railways Minister.

According to him, the crowd Joe Ghartey pulled was arguably much bigger than what was experienced in Bantama recently.

In other news, John Dumelo, the popular Ghanaian actor now a politician who is seeking to be elected into parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, has taken his campaign to a whole new level.

In one of the photos sighted by YEN.com.gh on Zionfelix.com and Factsandtruths_official, the politician was seen 'hanging' on a truck attempting to speak with the driver.

Other shots taken show him mingling with 'trotro' passengers, pedestrians minding their own businesses and construction workers at their job site.

It is clear that John Dumelo is serious about being elected as a parliamentarian for his constituency but that does not take away the challenge he would have to surmount on election day.
