Even Though the performance of Ghanaian candidates have improved this year, the performance of students in Maths and Science continues to be a problem. In fact, 73,243 Ghanaian candidates also failed in Integrated Science. In total, 375,763 candidates took part in the 2020 examinations from Ghana.
The poor performance in Mathematics and Science continues to be an issue of concern to Ghanaian educational authorities. Even Though innovative programs and incentives have been put up by the government, it seems a chunk of Ghanaian students are just not either interested or versed in the subject.
