Man who was Once Kicked out of School for Fees Succeeds, Buys Bew Socks for Public Students

- A Nigerian man, Chinedu Junior Ihekwoaba, is using his adulthood to make sure kids do not go through the same experience he had

- In sharing his life story, the man revealed that he could not go to school for days because his mother could not afford his fees

- The man recently went out to a public school in Oyo state where he bought new socks for the pupils

A Nigerian man who had a rough childhood and could not get what he wanted as a kid has put big smiles on the faces of public students.

In a LinkedIn post, Chinedu Junior Ihekwoaba said that he remembered that he was once sent out of school for a $29 fee because his mother could not pay.

Chinedu disclosed that because he did not want people to know he was not going to school, he would dress in his uniform every morning and hustled instead.

From his business, he was making $1.30 ) daily. On the third day of faking going to school, the young man sprained his ankle.

Writhing in pain, a Good Samaritan saw him and noticed he spoke correct English. After knowing why he was not in school, he helped him.

Chinedu revealed that since that encounter, he has vowed to “pay it forward” and help people. Sharing a photo, the man showed how excited the public students were when he got them pairs of socks.

When asked by YEN.com.gh how he felt making the students happy, the young man said:

"Thank you! I only feel I could do more. And I feel bad that I am not a millionaire, I could have perhaps changed all their kits. But who knows, God could bless me big."

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a Nigerian lady, Iheoma Sunday, has used her one-year National Youth Service Corps programme to make many smile.

Taking to her LinkedIn page, Iheoma said that she took it upon herself to raise awareness and source for funds to renovate classrooms in disuse.
