A young lady recently discovered where her father was after she spotted him in an old friend's WhatsApp status. According to her post, she saw the photo and started asking about the familiar man who looked just like her dad. She had heard he had supposedly died years ago.
"I'm so confused. I just saw my dad posing on my friend's status for Mother's Day... I'm having a lowkwwtf moment. I thought my dad died," she wrote in the shocking post.
Twitter users did not know what to make of the post and actually seemed sadly used to these kinds of things when it comes to South African fathers. Read a few of their interesting and insightful comments below:
@MStoto asked:
"So, your friend never knew how your dad looked like before he became their stepdad? I am trying to understand."

"So the guy faked his death... just to be a stepfather, and leave his children, this is disturbing, did you guys bury him or you were told he is dead?"
In other YEN News, a heartbreaking and quite funny clip has been shared online in which a young boy shares his thoughts on his father, who has not been a present figure in his life since he was only two years old.
"I came to say thank you" - Young man celebrates university graduation at father's grave; emotional photos drop
In the clip, the young child can be heard saying that he suspects that his father is married and may be poor, which is the reason why he as the child has to take the first step in contacting his father as opposed to the other more acceptable way around.
"Some kids are very much smart from born [sic]," @advobarryroux captioned the clip.
