The CEO of the Despite Group of Companies, Osei Kwame 'Despite', is undoubtedly one of the richest men in Ghana.

Despite, who owns huge media platforms, including Peace FM, UTV, Okay FM and Neat FM, is known to have built several luxurious mansions and acquired several posh cars.

YEN.com.gh recently reported that Kwame Despite had imported a brand new Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet into the country.

The car is the latest addition to his fleet of very expensive vehicles.

A year ago, Kwame Despite invited some staff of the EIB media group to his powerful and majestic mansion in Kumasi.

The rare access to one of the most luxurious buildings in Ghana enabled some members of EIB, including Nana Aba Anamoah, to take pictures.

Despite Group of Companies (DGC), incorporated in the 1980’s with only one company, Despite Productions (now Despite stores), has evolved and is the parent company of three commercial radio stations, U2 Company Limited (Iodated Salt Production), Neat Foods Company Limited (which produces and markets NEAT Fufu, NEAT Banku, NEAT Abenkwan, NEAT Hausa Koko, NEAT Diary Products) and United Television.
