Kumawood actor, Yaw Dabo has stated that it isn’t true some Ghanaian actors are paid $20,000 for lead roles in local movies.

According to the 2016 Ghana Movie Awards Discovery of The Year, the rumour is far from true.

He however stated that the least amount he would be willing to take is GHc3000 per movie. He has however kept mute on the highest amount he has ever taken.

He also revealed that it is solely the movies that made him a rich man. He went on to say that, he sometimes gives out loans to people who are in need, the least amount being GHc1000.
