Ama, the daughter of the late Dr Edward Omane Boamah, has courted attention after she recently made a rare public appearance at the Ghana International School (GIS).

The prestigious educational institution held its 70th anniversary celebration on its campus in the Greater Accra Region, which was attended by many past and present students.

Prominent personalities like former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah, Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu, and Chief of Police (COP) Lydia Yaako Donkor were present at the high-profile event.

In a video shared by renowned blogger Ameyaw Debrah on TikTok, Ama, one of the three children of the late Dr Omane Boamah, was spotted serving as an usher at the 70th anniversary celebration of the Ghana International School (GIS).

The daughter of the late Defence Minister wore a ceremonial attire with a sash and accompanied former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings alongside some colleagues as she arrived on the school premises for the event.

Dr Omane Boamah's daughter and her colleagues walked gently and in silence on the side as the widow of the late Jerry John Rawlings conversed with an administrator before they entered the venue for the celebratory ceremony.

She also accompanied the Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah, as he also arrived at the school for the 70th anniversary celebration event.

The event was held at the Christ the King Catholic Parish in Accra to honour the memory of the late Defence Minister and Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala after their demise in the tragic helicopter crash.

At the thanksgiving service, President John Dramani Mahama comforted Akua, Yaw, and Ama as they stood in the front row of the church with their mother, Rita Omane Boamah.
