Beef breaks out between Daddy Lumba’s widows
After the death of highlife great Charles Kwadwo Fosu on July 26, 2025, an online feud has broken out between followers of his two wives.
The feud has led to attacks and counter attacks on social media, with each camp arguing why either Akosua Serwaa or Odo Broni should be recognised as the late singer’s only widow.
Akosua Serwaa has faced accusations of abandoning Daddy Lumba to stay in Germany while he was seriously sick while Odo Broni took care of him.
The late singer’s second wife has also been accused of being a golddigger who destroyed his ‘perfect marriage to his wife for her selfish gain.
The beef took on a new life when Odo Broni stood by and nodded along as a 'relative' shaded Akosua Serwaa.

Bigscout blasts Odo Broni for shading Akosua Serwaa
In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page of Koforidua Flowers, media personality Bigscout Nana Prempeh, a known close associate of Akosua Serwaa, ripped into Odo Broni.
He accused her and her followers of instigating the beef between the two camps and slammed her for engaging in the shading of her senior wife, Akosua Serwaa.
"Odo Broni stood there as the gentleman shaded?, Akosua Serwaa and she kept nodding along. Everything her relative did, she nodded along and agreed with it. Have you ever seen Akosua Serwaa go online to insult anyone?” he fumed.
Bigscout said following Daddy Lumba’s death, the Akosua Serwaa camp remained mute to allow the mourning period and funeral to go without a hitch.

He alleged that the moment Akosua Serwaa arrived in Ghana from Germany, Odo Broni and her minions started attacking her.
“What did Akosua Serwaa do wrong? What crime did she commit that you even hired bloggers to go after her. You have an agenda to tarnish her name, but we won't allow it. Because Akosua Serwaa has suffered and does not deserve to be treated this way.” he said.

Daddy Lumba's abusuapanin calls for peace
Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Daddy Lumba's abusuapanin called for peace between the widows of the late musician.
In an interview, he asked for both wives to attend a family meeting for an amicable resolution to the question of who should be Daddy Lumba's recognised widow.
