A TikTok video featuring a resourceful mother has taken the internet by storm. The woman devised a clever way to ensure her family enjoyed hot food during a visiting day at Moi Girls' High Kabarak.

The unidentified mother, accompanied by her other children, brought an array of food for the family's visit.

In the viral video shared by her daughter, @sabyjudy, the mother can be seen serving the delicious meal while a cooking gas cylinder stands nearby.
With humour and admiration, @sabyjudy exclaims,
"Mama yangu alibeba hadi gas" (My mom even brought gas). In response, her mother explains that the gas was for heating the food, emphasising that cold food is not enjoyable.
The video showcases the mother serving mouthwatering dishes, including beef stew, chicken stew, chapatis, rice, kachumbari, fried cabbage, soft drinks, and snacks.
She even remembered to bring cutlery, serviettes, and the Kenyan household staple, the Maasai kikoi.

Elsewhere, a video captured a mother's arrival at a boarding secondary school to visit her son.
When the boy saw his mother, he could not control his emotions as he dashed and embraced her tightly.
His mum was so happy as she spread her arms, and they hugged very tightly for a long time before letting go of each other.
They gave each other a peck and continued celebrating as other students watched mother and son in amazement, and when they were done hugging, the boy jumped on her mother's back.
