First Lady Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo and Second Lady Samira Bawumia commemorated Father's Day with heartfelt messages on Sunday, June 18.

The first lady delivered a message to dads, while the second lady's words targeted her husband and Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

In her message, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo quoted writer, humorist, and author, Linda Poindexter, saying:

"When my father didn't have my hand, he had my back." -Linda Poindexter. Happy Father's Day."

The second lady thanked the vice-president for his commitment and care towards their family and the many people who look up to him.

"Happy Fathers' Day, sweetheart, from the kids and me. We love you! @mbawumia," Samira Bawumia posted on her socials.

Nana Ama McBrown celebrates her husband with sweet message on Father's Day

In a previous story, YEN.com.gh reported that actress Nana Ama McBrown celebrated her husband and the father of their only child together to commemorate Father's Day.

The television goddess delivered the sweet message to reiterate the family's love for her significant other, Maxwell Mawuli Mensah.

In a Sunday, June 18 post, she prayed for blessings over her better half of more than five years. The couple dated and married in 2016.
