Twene Jonas, known for his controversial opinions on Ghanaian politics and current affairs, shared a video on social media sharing his assessment.

He was a fan of the current government and rallied his followers to vote out the NPP in the 2024 elections.

However, the US-based media sensation in his recent video noted that things were not going as expected under John Mahama.

According to Twene Jonas, the administration of John Mahama, who belongs to the National Democratic Congress, has been plagued by several security issues which were not experienced by Nana Akufo-Addo's New Patriotic Party.

Twene Jonas' remarks come after Mahama touted the achievements of his administration barely eight months into office during his maiden engagement with the press at the Jubilee House.

He was arrested on Monday, September 8, 2025, by armed security operatives from the Ghana Police Service for 'offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace' and denied bail after he was arraigned before the court on Tuesday, September 9, 202.

Twene Jonas defended Abronye DC and established that the trend of oppressing people from other opposition parties without a strong basis is a dent on John Mahama's administration.
