Hearts of Oak achieved this feat a day after the club had beaten Zamalek of Egypt by 2-0 to win the only Super Cup by a Ghanaian side at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

It was the fourth trophy in recent months for Hearts of oak after winning the Ghana Premier league, FA Cup and the African Champions League in December.

Hearts of Oak played host to Zamalek in Kumasi because the club was banned for a year from playing any continental club games at the Accra Sports Stadium.
