Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his baby mama Georgina Rodriguez have contributed towards the cancer treatment of a seven-year-old boy.
The Portuguese youngster named Tomas has been battling neuroblastoma since September 2019 but he was said to have encountered a relapse last October.
After his medical setback, his parent solicited for funds from the public to help raise funds for an important operation.
Ivana, Georgina's sister was said to have posted the information on Instagram and that was said to have confirmed their involvement in the cause according to Sport Bible.
Meanwhile, Tomas' parent sent an incredible thank you message to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and his partner, saying:
"Thank you Georgina and Cristiano for your help, solidarity and great heart. Infinite thanks for helping us so that Tomas can access treatment."
The publication further revealed that the young boy is undergoing a series of tests at the D'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time the 36-year-old has donated to a noble cause in his professional career.
Last year, he and agent Jorge Mendes bought medical supplies to help combat the coronavirus pandemic in Portugal.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the Portugal international on Friday, February 5, turned 36 and the world's football fraternities are celebrating the Juventus superstar because of his superb performances on the pitch.
There is no doubt about the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has recorded his name in gold as far as football is concerned as no where in the world where his name is not known or heard.
Gone are the days when the Juventus star used to play football on the streets of Portugal, but today, Cristiano Ronaldo is a proud winner of five Ballon d'Or and still in the race to win more.
