He has won the last two Golden Boots in the league and barring injuries, he will win his third this campaign. here are other player players who scored in the opening five weeks of the league.

Wayne Rooney

The England legend retired as Manchester United's all-time top scorer. He scored all types of goals and assisted over 100. In the 2011/12 season, the Red Devils made a red-hot start, and Rooney was at the centre of it. They won their opening five games, including the famous 8-2 win over Arsenal. They also beat Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in that run, with Rooney scoring nine goals, including back-to-back hat-trick.

Rooney ended the season with a career-best 27 Premier League goals, but his club went trophyless. They famously lost the title on goal difference.

Jose Antonio Reyes (2004-05)

The late Spanish forward only scored 16 Premier League goals for Arsenal and was the first layer to bag five in the opening five weeks, per Transfermarkt.. He joined the team during the iconic 2023/04 season, and Reyes was on fire the following season. The Gunners won eight of their first nine league games but couldn't defend their title.

Sergio Aguero (2019-20)

The Manchester City legend is the leading goal scorer among foreigners in the Premier League. He scored seven goals in the first six games of the 2019/20 and ended the season with 16 league goals.

Health issues forced him to retire, but he remains one of the Premier League's greats. He hung his boots with 184 goals in the English top flight, the fifth most in history.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (2020-21)

Erling Haaland 2024/25

This season, he has bagged 10 goals, including back-to-back hat-tricks. He is on track to win a third straight Premier League Golden Boot and is a leading contender for the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
