KMA uses Delta Force to evict traders

- KMA officials have used the help of the Delta Force group to conduct a decongestion exercise

- Officials say Delta Force group members were recruited to shore up already existing KMA team

The Muasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has reportedly enlisted the services of the notorious New Patriotic Party (NPP) affiliated group, the Delta Forces to help the assembly relocate street vendors from key areas of the metropolis.

Officials of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) have embarked on a decongestion exercise with the aid of the notorious Delta Forces group in order to clear the metropolis of Kumasi's central business district.

According to a report by Starrfmonline, traders who usually operate around Adum Pampaso, Suame roundabout, Komfo Anokye and Dr. Mensa have been directed to relocate their shops.

Starrfmonline's Ashanti Reional correspondent, Mr. Isaac Bediako Justice, has also reported that KMA officials stated that the reason for recruiting the Delta Force group s to buffer the assembly's alread existing group of men who will be taking part in the decongestion exercise.
