Pablo Escobar wife’s name is Maria Victoria Henao. She got married to the drug lord at a tender age of 13. Her brother, Mario, was an accomplice of Escober where the two were working together at a little-known criminal enterprise, and it is likely through him that the two got to know each other. Henao’s family were opposed to this union but they eloped and finally married in 1976 when she was 15 years old while Pablo Escobar was 26. Together, the couple gave birth to a son, Juan Pablo in 1977 and a daughter, Manuela Escobar in 1984. The drug lord was accused of infidelity countless times but his wife never left his side most probably because of the extravagant lifestyle that the drug money had granted the family. After the death of her husband Maria Victoria Henao moved out of Columbia in 1994 to seek asylum together with her two kids. The government of Columba seized the husband’s money leaving the family broke.
They moved from one country to another before settling in Argentina. To elude the police, Pablo Escobar wife and kids changed their names where the wife became Maria Isabel Santos Caballero, the son became Sebastian Marroquin and daughter Juana Manuela Marroquín Santos. They undertook a low-profile life in an apartment at Buenos Aires up to around 1999 when their real identities. Maria Victoria Henao and her son got incarcerated in 2000 for 15 months on charges of money laundering. The two were later released due to insufficient evidence.

After the release, Escobar's wife has maintained a low profile and kept away from the public eye. Her absence from the public had made many speculate about her death.
