The late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, did not die naturally, the father of controversial dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has said.
According to Mr. Charles Nii Armah Mensah, who is also known as Shatta Capo, his consultations with God after the tragic accident suggests Ebony's death was not the will of the Almighty.
Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, died on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Nyamebekyere near Mankranso on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway while returning to Accra after visiting her mother in Sunyani.
One week shy of her 21st birthday, Ebony's death has shaken the whole nation and the massive patronage of her one-week observance attests to this.

Sharing his thoughts on the unfortunate incident, Shatta Wale's father revealed that, for over a week before Ebony's death, he kept hearing her song, “Maame Hwɛ” in his sleep between 1:00 am and 3:00 am.
But it only occurred to him that God was trying to tell him something when he woke up to the news of Ebony's death on Friday, February 9.
Immediately after hearing the news, Shatta Capo narrated on Hitz FM's Showbiz Fylla, he asked God if it was His plan but he found out it was not God’s divine plan.

“When the news broke that the girl or the celebrity had passed away through accident, I kept quiet. I went to God and asked God because I knew her (Ebony Reigns). When these things happen, the first thing I do is to find out whether it was God’s divine plan for the lady and I found out that it wasn’t God’s plan for her to die” YEN.com.gh heard him saying.
Mr Armah Mensah who fell short of mentioning whose plan it was for Ebony to sent his condolences to the family of Ebony.
