5 reasons why Shatta Wale and Shatta Michy's break up is 'fake'
Ghanaians Monday, April 16, 2018, to the news of a break up between Shatta Wale and his partner and Shatta Michy.
The two had taken to social media to announce their split trading accusations after accusations.
While Shatta Wale claimed his woman had chased him with a knife and that he was done with her, Michy also claimed that Shatta had assaulted and even showed a photo proof.
However, not long after, Michy deleted most of the social media posts and nothing has been heard from the two since Monday.
This has led to many speculations with some even suspecting that the whole news of break was not true.

YEN.com.gh has gathered some facts about the whole Shatta Wale-Shatta Michy relationship which should give readers an insight as to what is really happening
Background:
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., and Shatta Michy, born Michelle Diamond Gbagbonah, having been dating for over eight years now and they a son, Majesty, who is about three years old.
1. Michy has been loyal:
Michy came into the life of Shatta at a time when he had left his father’s house and was hustling to stage a comeback into the music limelight.
Though popular with the ghetto youth at the time, Shatta Wale was still not a force to be reckoned with.
Michy, on the other hand, had returned from her in Europe, Norway to be precise and for her to have stuck with Shatta despite pressure from her family and friends, it took some loyalty.
People like Shatta Wale, thrive on loyalty and he would not reward Michy’s loyalty with such negativity.
2. Michy has shown maturity in even difficult circumstances so why now?
There have been times that Shatta Wale has been reported to have frolicked with other ladies and we did not hear Michy come out publicly to complain.
Remember the Efia Odo saga when Shatta Wale was seen in photos in the same bed with the actress? Michy never complained or if she did, it did not get into the public domain.
If Michy kept her cool in the face of possible flirtations of her partner with other women, what at all would make her pull a knife on Shatta now?
3. What was the relationship like before the social media break up?
Within this month, Shatta Wale announced that he had bought a new mansion for Michy.
No man will buy a house for a lady who often chases him with a knife as Shatta Wale wanted us to believe.
Also after winning one award at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), Shatta took to social media to thank the organisers, Charterhouse and he did so by posting a picture of Michy.
Interestingly, it was less than 24 hours before he came to announce the supposed break up.
Is it not ironic that Shatta would hail Michy at 12midnight and come again at 10 pm to say all sort of negative things about him.
Michy on the hand, while reacting to Moesha Boduong’s controversial CNN interview had described Shatta Wale as ‘my king’ and in about 48 hours time, he had turned into a monster?
4. They’ve played this game before:
The two pulled a similar stunt on Ghanaians somewhere last year. Prior to the release of a Shatta Michy song titled ‘Cheating’, reports surfaced that Shatta had sacked Michy form their house after catching her cheating.
Indeed, Michy was spotted at an East Legon hotel where she reportedly lodged for about five days.
But it all turned out to be a plan to whip up conversation about them in order to get attention for the song.
So why should we believe them now?
5. The whole abusive relationship plot is said to fit into a movie Shatta Wale acting in:
Shatta Wale is playing a lead role in a movie titled, ‘Kejetia vs Makola: The Return of Shatta Wale’ and YEN.com.gh understands whatever that has transpired between Wale and Michy is a plot within that movie.
So there were basically showing Ghanaians a movie and not a real break up.
