Former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Charlotte Osei, appears not bothered by her dismissal from office if her latest social media post is anything to go by.

Charlotte Osei was last Thursday relieved of her duties as EC boss by President Akufo-Addo following a recommendation from the Chief Justice.

She was sacked together with her two deputies, Amadu Sulley and Georgina Opoku Amankwa, over alleged cases of incompetence and diversion of funds.

However, she seems not bothered at all by her recent troubles and has taken to social media to make that point clear.

Mrs. Osei has been very active on social media in the past few days following the President’s decision to remove her from office.

In a latest Instagram post, she posted a stunning photo of herself, accompanied by a caption which suggested she has already moved on after being sacked.

She wrote beneath the said photo: “We face neither east nor west, we face forward’ – Kwame Nkrumah. Thanksgiving mode activated. Welcome July. We embrace you with joy and beautiful expectations.”

Meanwhile, Mrs. Osei has indicated that she will respond in due time to the President’s decision to sack her.

In a statement released on Friday, a day after her removal from office, she said she will bring out her response following the mourning of former vice president Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.
