The 4 richest kings in Ghana
Ghana as a country has lots of traditional rulers but not all are seen as rich. Some of the kings are rich because of the throne they occupy.
Some of the other kings are also rich due to their personal businesses. These kings have set up foundations to help eradicate poverty in their communities; example is the Otumfuo Education Fund.
YEN.com.gh brings you the four filthy rich Kings in Ghana. They are Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Osagyefuo Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin, Togbe Afede XIV and Osagyefo Agyeman Badu II.

1. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II - Asantehene
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is the 16th Asantehene, traditional ruler of the Kingdom of Ashanti in Ghana since 26 April 1999, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is in direct succession to the founder of the Empire of Ashanti, Otumfuo Osei Tutu I.
After studying in the United Kingdom, Osei Tutu II worked briefly in private and public organizations in the United Kingdom and Canada before returning to Ghana in 1989 to set up Transpomech Ghana, a $12 million company that provides mining equipment to several large industrial companies in Ghana.
The king also owns an extensive real estate in Ghana and South Africa as well as a collection of valuable gold crown jewels.

Forbes Magazine estimated Otumfuo Osei Tutu II net worth at $10m.
2. Osagyefuo Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin - Okyehene
Osagyefuo Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin is the 35th King to have ascended the throne referred to as the Ofori Panin Stool. He ascended the throne on October 4th 1999, on the passing of his predecessor and brother, Nana Kuntunkununku II.
On ascending the throne, Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin pledged to introduce real economic development, commercial growth and the general progress and welfare of the people. In making this pledge, Osagyefuo referred in particular to the development of the child, health, education and environment noting that “the success of my reign is dependent totally on my ability as your leader to ensure that our future – our children – is really secure.”
Osagyefuo Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin is regarded as the one of the richest kings in Ghana.

3. Togbe Afede XIV – King of Agbogbomefia
Togbe Afede XIV is the President of the National House of Chiefs, and the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State and President of Asogli Traditional Area.
He is the chairman of World Trade Centre Accra, he was voted member of the Board of Directors of the World Trade Centre in 2015.
Togbe Afede XIV is founder and promoter of Africa World Airlines, Ghana's largest domestic and regional airline. He also owns one of Africa’s biggest football clubs, Hearts of Oak.
4. Osagyefo Agyeman Badu II - Dormahene
Osagyefo Agyeman Badu II is the one of the respected Kings in Ghana. He is a traditional ruler and also a High Court judge.
He owns a Ghanaian Premier League club, Aduana Stars. His club has won the Ghana Premier League twice, and they are currently competing in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.
