Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher, Sonnie Badu has finally spoken after reports went round of his arrest in the United Kingdom for gun possession.
According to the preacher, the said video circulating on social media was for a music video of his new song, ‘I Hail You’.
Sonnie added that he intentionally sat down quietly to observe how some bloggers were causing fear and panic by reporting that he had been arrested.
In a long Instagram post, sighted by YEN.com.gh, the preacher advised bloggers to stop expressing joy over another person’s downfall.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the gospel artiste was arrested in the UK for allegedly possessing a gun.
In the said video, the singer was spotted in handcuffs in a police car, seated by a police man looking rather calm in that situation.
The one time VGMA Gospel Artiste of the Year was recently gifted a Mercedes S550 class from members of his church in the US.
According to YEN.com.gh reports, the preacher said he had a revelation from God to sell his Mercedes Benz C class car and sow it into starting the Rock Hill church.
A visibly-shaken and surprised Sonnie in video sighted by YEN.com.gh expressed appreciation to his whole congregation for their awesome gift and mentioned how worth the wait was.
