19-year-old SHS student kidnapped in Accra
A 19-year-old senior high school student of La PRESEC, Charity Agyeman Duah, has been abducted at Pig Farm, a suburb of Accra.
In a report that YEN.com.gh sighted on Classfmonline.com, the girl's father, Agyeman Duah, told Kwabena Prah Jnr. on Accra 100.5FM, that his daughter left home days ago but has since not returned.
The kidnappers, he said, called him to demand a ransom.

Duah confirmed that the case has been reported to the Kotobabi police station in Accra but no significant results have been achieved.
In a related story on abduction, YEN.com.gh has published that another girl has gone missing in Takoradi.
The report said, 25-year-old Maame Darkoa Anomah, is believed to have been kidnapped.
The kidnapper has allegedly warned the family of the lady in question not to report the case to the police.
The year is still young but Ghana seems to have witnessed a lot of kidnapping incidents lately with a lot happening at Takoradi in the Western Region.
It was reported that three young girls had been kidnapped following a cunning way used by the kidnappers to lure the young ladies.
A suspect by name, Samuel Utodoek-Wills, has been apprehended after preliminary investigations but the girls have still not been found.

Samuel Utudoek while in police custody absconded by cutting the rods at the window of the cell but was later rearrested.
The Volta Region on the other hand has also been reported to have some kidnapping incidents happening there.
The development has raised concerns by some section of Ghanaians and security analysts with many criticising the police for not being swift as they should be.
The Takoradi kidnapping incident for instance has generated a social media campaign with the hashtag #BringBackOurTaadiGirls.
Many celebrities and journalists have joined the campaign aimed at rescuing the three girls kidnapped in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
