PDS says there is enough power for distribution

Power Distribution Services (PDS), the company that took charge of the management of Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has assured Ghanaians that it has enough power to distribute to Ghanaians.

According to a report by Citinewsroom.com, the assurance comes after a nationwide blackout in the evening of Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

The director of communications at PDS, William Boateng, allayed fears that a generation deficit led to the blackout.

“We have enough generation at our end. If we are off, it means that we have announced planned maintenance,” he explained.

PDS also hopes to be more transparent in its service delivery by making information readily available in case of any inquiries.
