The Ghana Education Service (GES) is trending in the news for a not so good reason

“In fact, am soo sad today. Am at a workshop organized by government through GES and this is what is served to teachers and heard teachers as snacks. A week long workshop starting from 8am to 5:30pm each day. Ooo when are we going to be respected,” she wrote.

Many are of the view that it was a total disrespected and disgrace to teaching as a profession.

Meanwhile, U.S-based Ghanaian academic and activist, Prof Stephen Kwaku Asare, popularly known as Kwaku Azar, has warned of the possible danger if government renames the University of Ghana.
