Dr. Sheena Boateng: Ghana’s first female Ph.D. holder in marketing joins UGBS

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has announced the appointment of Dr. Sheena Lovia Boateng to the department of marketing and entrepreneurship.
YEN.com.gh understands that Dr. Boateng, who began work on Thursday, August 15, 2019, holds three degrees from the University of Ghana.
Information available shows she is the first woman to complete a PhD in marketing from the University of Ghana.

She is also the founder of the Women in Tertiary Education (WITE) Network which was formed to support women in tertiary education.
Per a report by citinewsroom.com, WITE is focused in research in the academic environment, family life and career balance.
In other news, an unidentified teacher in an African country has proven herself capable of teaching without textbooks.
The teacher, per reports available, does her best to make her lessons as interactive, practical and as fun as possible.
She went on to say her students face domestic challenges such as lack of basic amenities.
