Gospel singer Nana Yaa Akyedie reportedly dies from cancer

Nana Yaa Akyedie Acheampong, a popular gospel singer has died causing heartbreak on social media.

According to information YEN.com.gh gathered from her friends on social media, Nana Yaa Akyedie died of breast cancer.

She is understood to have battled with the dreaded disease for some time but finally succumbed to it.

It is not known exactly when she died but the news of her Nana Yaa's death hit the internet in the evening of October 25, 2019.

A popular personality on Facebook, the news of Nana Yaa's death has got many people shedding tears.

Nana Yaa left behind three children, two boys and little girl.

Meanwhile, Regina Chika Austin, the 2018 winner of the University of Cape Coasts beauty pageant, Miss UCC has also died.

According to information gathered by YEN.com.gh, Chika Austin died earlier in the day on Thursday, October 24, 2019.

Her death was first reported on her own Instagram which had a banner posted on the Instastories at about 9:00am on Thursday.
