Stonebwoy becomes 1st Ghanaian Dancehall act to get Billboard plaque (video)

- Stonebwoy has put Ghana and Africa on the map with his latest international recognition

- He is currently the first Ghanaian Dancehall artiste to receive a Billboard plaque

- The Billboard plaque was given to Stonebwoy for his contribution to the award-winning 'Welcome to Judgement Yard' album.

Ghanaian Dancehall sensation, Stonebwoy, was featured by Sizzla Kalonji on his 'Shoot Yuh' song which is one of the hit songs on the 'Welcome to Judgement Yard' album.

The 'Shoot Yuh' song was ranked number 2 on the Billboard World REGGAE ALBUMS and as such, Stonebwoy was given a plaque from Billboard headquarters for being part of the project.

In a video posted by the 'Ololo' hitmaker on his Instagram account and sighted by YEN.com.gh, Stonebwoy could not hide his excitement as he displayed the plaque and dedicated it to Ghana, Jamaica and Africa.

“The Works Will Reflect Your Worth! League Of Legends!! LOL Sizzla Kalonji ft Stonebwoy – #ShootYuh”, Stonebwoy posted on Instagram.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian Rapper, D Black, said he will want to see award-winning Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy work together with Kelvyn Boy on a song or even a project.

The Chief Executive of Black Avenue Music said Kelvyn Boy had some positive impact on his music career while working with Stonebwoy, and he will love to see the two working together again on a song or on other ventures.

In a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, D Black disclosed that Kelvyn Boy's ' Yawa No Dey' hit song is one of his favourite songs, adding that Kelvyn Boy should not let anyone change his path.
