Keta, a town in the Volta Region of Ghana which is the capital of the Keta Municipal District and has great tourist sites that appear to be unknown by many Ghanaians.

Phamousghana.com indicates that the town is regarded as the sixty-first most populous settlement in Ghana in terms of population.

YEN.com.gh takes a look at seven of the tourist attractions for public knowledge, pleasure and education.

1. Fort Prinzenstein

Fort Prinzenstein was built in 1784 by the Danes after a war against the people of Anlo and Keta.

It is the only slave Fort built on the east of the Volta River and has been the heart and soul of the Danish slave trade in Africa.

2. Keta Lagoon Resort

The resort is a beautifully serene and natural environment with amazing wooden structures built on water.

3. Aborigines Beach Resort

Aborigines is a well-decorated site along the beach with purely indigenous African luxury items. Some describe it as a place to truly feel the African atmosphere

This is reportedly a preferred choice for quality African home-cooked meals that are loved by all and sundry.

In other news, highly sought-after singer and songwriter from Jamaica popularly known as Popcaan has bought a whopping $5.5m mansion in Ghana on the back of Ghana's Year of Return commemoration.

The top Jamaican artiste made the eye-popping revelation in a video he posted on his official social media handle. In the video, Popcaan who is also known as the Unruly Boss flaunted the huge mansion, showing different amazing parts and the internal designs.
