Shatta Wale reacts as Vybz Kartel declares himself a Ghanaian

Jamaican reggae dancehall recording artist, record producer and entrepreneur, Vybz Kartel, has shown his love for Ghana.

In his most recent post on social media, Vybz Kartel who is known in private life as Adidja Azim Palmer has declared himself a Ghanaian.

According to Kartel, he knows his roots and it is not Portmore as Ancestory.com puts it but Ghana.

Vybz Kartel made the declaration after a Ghanaian fan of his posted a message support social media.

The fan, @kwame_swag had written that the Jamaican star that Ghana was praying for him.

After sighting the message of support, Vybz Kartel took a screenshot to post.

It was while he was sharing the screenshot that Vybz Kartel declared himself a Ghanaian.

Following the Jamaican star's declaration, many Ghanaians have taken to the post to hail him.

Among them was Ghana's own dancehall superstar Shatta Wale who sees the Jamaican as his music godfather.

"Glad you know now Fada now," Shatta Wale wrote.
