Fresh KNUST graduate lands job as Senior Data Analyst at top company in USA

Kwasi Kankam, a young man who graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has landed a massive job with a top firm in the US.
The young man graduated from the Ghanaian university in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry after which he landed the huge role, immediately after his national service.
Kankam has been recruited as a Senior Data Analyst for AstraZeneca, a British-Swedish company which is one of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in the whole world.

The brilliant young graduate will be working at the Frederick Manufacturing Center(FMC) in Maryland, USA; where biologics manufacturing takes place.
Kankam's company has the sole aim to prioritize the needs of patients and continually developing cutting-edge drugs to combat health issues in relation to our therapeutic areas.
Speaking about his huge appointment and the transition from a graduate in Chemistry to an expert in Data Analytics, Kankam narrated how the two came together.

"Though I trained as a chemist, my new role is more non-traditional, it has little to no chemistry at play. However, my knowledge in chemistry was a feather in my cup during my interview," he said.
"The company was looking for a candidate with expertise in Data Analytics which I had. Albeit, my prior knowledge in chemistry made them kill two birds with one stone" Kankam added.
According to the successful young man, a point came when he wondered whether the Chemistry degree he had was a complete waste when he started learning Data Analytics.
However, Kwasi Kankam mentions that his new role has taught him that knowledge is actually never wasted, as it was all worth it in the end.
In another powerful and inspirational report, a loving family of children with their parents have surprised their grandmother with a fully-furnished house which made her go completely 'berserk' out of shock.
The story was shared online by a gentleman identified as John Kelley after which it went viral due to the intensity of the emotions it carried.
The heartwarming and eye-popping video came with the popular tag "they built Grandma a house and her reaction will touch your soul" with millions of viewers worldwide.
