Kumawood actor, Bernard Nyarko, has been confirmed dead, YEN.com.gh has gathered.

News of the actor's death has gone viral on social media.

One of the respected Ghanaian presenters, Andy Dosty, took to his official Instagram handle to announce the demise of the veteran actor.

Andy Dosty posted a photo of Nyarko with a touching caption.

He wrote, "Oh Lord, I don’t want to believe you’re gone. God be with you my friend."

Social media users have reacted to Nyarko's death as they couldn't believe the news.

Until his death, the renowned actor has featured in many top Kumawood movies.

YEN.com.gh previously reported a story of how Nyarko stressed that he is done with acting and no longer going back to the movie industry.

To him, the industry is a fertile ground for one to easily drift from God to do evil, therefore, he has decided to get that behind him for the rest of his life.
