Echo Charles Of “Gologolo” Fame Marries Kwesi Pratt’s Daughter

Former group member of the defunct music duo Echo, known as Echo Elijah has tied the knot with Maame Ama Pratt, first born and daughter of managing editor of the Insight newspaper.

The ceremony which was simple and an event for close members of the family, friends, political big wigs and some showbiz personalities took place during last week.

Echo Elijah, known in private life as Kwame Owusu Danso is a graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.  He was last seen on television as host of XLIve on TV3, a programme empowering the youth to be entrepreneurs. He also hosted the Capital TV morning show and now works with Telecom brand Airtel in the Sales and Marketing Unit. Kwame is currently in his last year in Law school.

A week to the ceremony, the elated singer of the defunct group could not hide his  joy  about his marriage and took to social media site Facebook and Instagram to announce how elated he was that “they both have made it this far”.

His wife, Ama Pratt was a former Miss SSS winner in 2001. She is a social commentator mainly on gender issues on various radio and TV platforms in the country and holds a first degree in Law. Ama is currently working towards her own TV show dubbed the couch with Ama Pratt. Ama Pratt is the first of three children born Kwesi Pratt.
