Celebrated broadcaster, Nana Yaa Brefo, recently caused a massive stir when she confidently revealed she doesn’t have a womb despite what many would expect.

According to Angelonline.com, the renowned broadcaster who used to work with Multimedia Group Limited indicated that she has been living without a womb for about 13 years.

Nana Yaa Brefo explained on Angel 102.9 FM's Anopa Bofo that she lost her uterus, arguably a significant part of being a woman, after delivery.

The exact circumstances surrounding the removal of her womb when she was still in her thirties was not disclosed, but it was indicated that her doctors took it out.

Yaa Brefo was the host of Adom FM's morning show until her resignation in the middle of to join Angel FM. This came directly after a bad encounter with actress Nana Ama McBrown.

Brefo had asked the actress a question which many people criticised her for and described as 'below the belt'.

She had asked McBrown to mention the phone number of late Kumawood actor, Bishop Nyarko, on air after Bishop's brother called McBrown a liar for having said she called the actor when he was sick and bedridden.
