Award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, known in private life as Michael Owusu Addo, has shared a new photo with his newborn son.
In the new photo, Sarkodie is seen with the little boy who is known Michael Nana Yaw Owusu Addo Junior a.k.a. MJ.
Dressed in black from top to down, Sarkodie sat in a couch while holding the little boy who was wearing a black and white pyjamas.
With MJ on lap, Sarkodie planted a kiss on the boy's cheek and it got the little one excited as he smiled and looked happy.
While the photo shows MJ to be a happy kid, it also shows how big he is growing into and the fact that he can now stand on his feet as he did on his father's lap.
It is not known when this particular photo was taken but it happens to be the first image of MJ on social media after the rapper announced his birth.
As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie confirmed the birth of MJ, his second child with Tracy Sarkcess, in June 2020 while celebrating Fathers Day.
In a post on his Twitter, Sarkodie shared a photo of himself as a kid with his father, Augustine Owusu Addo. Beside that photo was one of the rapper and his newborn son.
In his caption, Sarkodie revealed the boy's name as Michael Nana Yaw Owusu Addo Junior with 'MJ' as his nickname.
Sarkodie's confirmation put an end to longstanding rumours of his wife giving birth to a new baby abroad.
The rumours had started in January but Sarkodie came out to deny saying Tracy had not given birth.
But Sarkodie, his wife, and their daughter, Titi Sarkcess, arrived in Ghana on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, after months of staying abroad, Tracy was spotted holding a baby.
It was a few days upon their arrival that the rapper confirmed the birth of the boy.
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh has reported that Dancehall superstar, Shatta Wale, has waded into the fake UN Kofi Annan awards saga.
In his latest video on social media, Shatta Wale laughed at D-Black, Sarkodie and other stars who are involved in the scandal.
He also claimed that while all the recipients paid GHC1,000 each, D-Black paid GHC5,000 because he wanted five flasks.
