US rapper Dr. Dre has officially been released from hospital after weeks of staying in hospital and dealing with brain aneurysm.
The Let Me Ride artist was on Friday discharged but is expected to be closely monitored by medical practitioners who will be with him 24 hours a day as he recuperates.
The music producer has had the year start on a rough patch for him and was in a fierce battle with his estranged wife who is also seeking to divorce him.
The 55-year-old was last week forced to pay the wife Nicole Young, KSh 200 million as temporary spousal support.
The two are said to have gotten married without signing any prenups and the rapper risks losing more than half of his hard-earned money through the divorce.
As if bad luck had come to tear his house down, the artists had burglars attempt to break into his House in Los Angeles.
He was still in hospital and scheduled to go for surgery when thugs tried to break into his Brentwood home.
However, the police officers confirmed that the thieves were not successful in breaking in and further launched investigations into the matter.
The rapper has however been in good spirits and even posted a picture of himself in studio on Instagram on January 6, sharing the good news with his fans about his improving health. He also thanked them for their prayers and encouragement during his trying moment. See his post below:
Fellow rappers and entertainers have also shown him so much love among them the Die Rich or Die Tryin' album maker 50 cent. He asked the rapper to stop stressing about things in life and take it one day at a time.
His fans and fellow entertainers however, flooded social media with quick recovery wishes and prayers.
