"On 18 Dec 2020, I received my Ph.D. degree at UWC after so many challenges that have delayed my progress. I have told myself one thing, regardless of the delays but am going to get my PhD degree one day because am not a failure.
"I did not quit, or dropout because I knew that as a Black young woman I am capable of finishing this PhD. So I want to encourage everyone that, Never ever give up on your Dreams the Devil and the circumstances can delay you But don’t lose focus. I walk tall every day these days as Dr M my new academic title. I salute my perseverance all the time and resilience. #DrM #PhDStory #ImStaying" she wrote proudly.
