Former US First Lady Michelle Obama keeps serving greatness like it is her first name.

Months after it was reported that she and her husband Barack Obama had struck a deal with streaming site Netflix, the mother of two has announced that she has a new show in the works.

According to a post on her Instagram page, Michelle is set to launch a new show for kids.

And it has the cutest name ever: Waffles and Mochi.

The former President’s wife stated that the programme is slated to air on March 16, 2021.

And the best part is that the show focuses on good food.

“It is all about good food: discovering it, cooking it, and of course, eating it,” she wrote excitedly.

The former First Lady also said that in a special way, her programme will help her support children’s health.

The author hopes that as the world struggles with the COVID-19 pandemic, Waffles and Mochi can bring in some light.

“I wish I had a programme like this when my kids were young,” Michelle opened up.

As once noted on YEN.com.gh, Michelle surprised her fans and followers with the release of an emotional documentary revolving around her life dubbed Becoming.

The Netflix documentary, directed by Nadia Hallgren was released on Wednesday, May 6, and became an instant hit with many people giving it a positive review on social media.

An excited Michelle gave her fans a sneak peek of the documentary by sharing just a snippet of it through her official Twitter account on Monday, May 4, prior to its debut.

The former US First Lady revealed the documentary tells her story from childhood all the way to her present life.

Michelle further disclosed that the documentary is not all about her, but also the people she met along the way such as her hubby Obama.
