Groom goes viral as he shows up for his wedding in dashiki and jeans; photos drop

- The Benue man ditched the conventional suit and tie for a more casual look comprising of jeans and dashiki
- His friends have taken to social media to celebrate him, regarding him as the first Tiv man to get married in a unique outfit
It appears more Africans are ditching the conventional white wedding look for something more traditional and Conan-Moses Orseer Anyamikegh is one of them.
The Benue man left jaws hanging when he showed up for his own wedding dressed in a dashiki and a pair of blue jeans - in place of a traditional suit and tie.

Anyamikegh accessorized his look with some dark sunshades and some shambalas on his wrists. His bride, however, kept it traditional as she looked dazzling in a beautiful dress with lace cutouts and a fringed neckline.
His friend, James Ornguga, took to Facebook to celebrate the couple.
He wrote:
"And the first Tiv man to hold his white wedding in jeans and Fulani danchiki was my friend, Conan-Moses Orseer Anyamikegh. Thanks for degrading this idea of English suits as wedding attire. I like your style. Congratulations, Tivboy!"

Another friend, Ngutor Masev, shared photos from the church ceremony as Anyamikegh walked down the aisle with his blushing bride.
In a similar story, a Nigerian woman and fashion designer, Chioma, also gave many people things to talk about after wearing an ankara-styled gown on her wedding day.
The whole social media was set abuzz by the creativity as many people said the style was such a bold move.
People who are close to the bride took to social media to share snaps from the wedding ceremony as they expressed how great Chioma's dress looked.
